Due to an unexpected medical issue, Mrs. Jane MacAlla Livingston is unable to travel and therefore the March 13 “Silver and Gold” concert has been cancelled.  We hope to be able to reschedule it later in the year.

You are all cordially invited to attend a very special piano/flute duo performance SILVER AND GOLD by Moments Musicaux, Friday evening, March 13 beginning at 7:00 pm in the church sanctuary.  The duo will present classical works by such composers as Vierne, Karg-Elbert, Buxtehude, Godard, Rutter, Schubert and Mozart as well as popular contemporary Christian music.

Moments Musicaux is the duo of Kathryn (Kathy) Thorson and Jane MacAlla Livingston.  Kathy is a retired music educator and beloved member of our church known to all of us for her extraordinary flute and vocal talent.  She will be joined for this performance by long-time friend and musical colleague Jane MacAlla Livingston.  Mrs. Livingston was a professor of keyboard studies at Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin and is presently the organist and choir director of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Milford, Pennsylvania.  Kathy and Jane have been playing and performing together for over 20 years.

This one-time only performance is open to the public, so please invite your friends and neighbors to join us.  There is no admission charge.  A voluntary “love offering” donation may be offered to the ALS Association Florida Chapter during the performance.  A reception in Mauldin Hall hosted by our Member Care Team will immediately follow the concert.

“Make new friends, but keep the old,

One is Silver and the other Gold.”
